SEW-EGAP (SEPLAA Empowering Women for Economic Growth And Peace), is a SEPLAA Foundation project that has the long term plan of reaching out to women from both urban as well as rural backgrounds so that they can become empowered and productive members of society by giving them capacity building workshops and talks.
The first of such sessions was held in partnership with the Pehl Organization in Bahawalpur which runs a Dastgari Centre (women empowerment centre) in Bahawalpur. In the pictures you can see the SEPLAA Foundation Executive Director Mrs. Ammara Farooq Malik speaking with the women enrolled in the centre and speaking with them about various exciting business options.
